As you head outdoors this spring, you’re likely to see ants roaming around. Unfortunately, you might also see ants inside your home if they manage to get in. If you see any of the following ants in your home this spring, you’ll need pest control in Ocean County NJ to handle them.

Acrobat Ants

These black or yellowish-brown ants bend their abdomen over their body when they feel threatened. Acrobat ants can infest areas of damp wood inside homes.

Odorous House Ants

These ants are a dark brown color and small in size. They emit a foul odor when their body is crushed or when they need to defend themselves.

Pavement Ants

Pavement ants are small, black ants that are usually seen outside on sidewalks and other paved areas.

Pharaoh Ants

These golden yellow or reddish ants are tiny and get into homes looking for food. Their coloring can make them hard to see.
